Many people won't like what you wrote here. But, in my opinion you're right on! We have two in college and one in high school and these were the Biblical methods that we used when we were correcting our children as they were growing up. I support you in what you have written here. One important point to make because for whatever reason this seems to be where others will go...there is a difference between a spanking and a beating.
